Controlling low frequencies in listening rooms is always very important. Absorbing this energy is successful provided we always choose the appropriate solution.

We set out to create a product with good technical properties whose size would not prevent its use in all types of rooms. This product is recommended for music listening rooms or rehearsal rooms with a volume of between 32m³ and 220m³, with the number of panels proportional to the space in question.

BASSLAYER® is a low-frequency absorption panel fitted with a hard-membrane absorber inside a tuned enclosure with four side openings, and is tuned to a frequency of 160 Hz. Its shape is attractive and discreet, and it is suitable for mounting on walls or ceilings. Ideally, these panels are combined with BASSCORNER® corner elements tuned to 80Hz; to supplement absorption in the mid-frequency band, MELLOWALLTRAP® panels complement these elements.

How to read the graph: the higher the curve rises, the better the element absorbs sound at that frequency – a value close to 1 means almost complete absorption, a value close to 0 means reflection back into the room.
