Ebony

EBONY® is an acoustic absorption panel for the mid-frequency band of the sound spectrum. Its convex (outward-curved) shape helps to reduce the primary convergent angles in the room. The front of the panel consists of a polyurethane resonant membrane in an air pocket. Three further types of material are used at the same time, each with different properties. Despite its small size, EBONY® has very respectable acoustic absorption performance at low frequencies. Thanks to its shape, the EBONY® absorption panel complements the IVORY® diffuser perfectly, both technically and aesthetically. This panel is designed for wall and ceiling mounting, and its low weight makes it particularly suitable for ceiling installation. EBONY® is an absorption panel that is highly effective in the mid and mid-low region of the sound spectrum.

How to read the graph: the higher the curve rises, the better the element absorbs sound at that frequency – a value close to 1 means almost complete absorption, a value close to 0 means reflection back into the room.
