Diffusing shells are acoustic elements used in large-volume rooms such as theatres and auditoria, where orchestral concerts or simple recitals take place. The purpose of installing these acoustic diffusing components is to project the natural sound of the instruments and preserve the so-called "liveliness" of the room acoustics. The JOCAVI® EFFECTFUSER® system was designed specifically for this purpose. It is a large-format diffuser that provides very homogeneous diffusion across the sound spectrum. Thanks to its shape and depth, the EFFECTFUSER® has a high diffusion coefficient in the mid / low frequencies, making it better balanced than other diffusers. The panels can be joined and multiplied to meet the requirements of any space. During installation, several modules are grouped together to obtain a sufficient diffusing surface. They are placed on the ceiling or on the walls so that sound is diffused at the intended angles. Like all JOCAVI® diffuser panels, the EFFECTFUSER® can be used in combination with the absorber panel models.

How to read the graph: the higher the curve rises, the better the element absorbs sound at that frequency – a value close to 1 means almost complete absorption, a value close to 0 means reflection back into the room.
