LeakyFM

The LeakyFM® absorption panel is designed primarily for radio and television studios, as well as broadcast rooms and auditoria. These spaces are typically used for speech, which calls for appropriate acoustic planning to ensure good sound pick-up. JOCAVI® presents this product with a good absorption coefficient at 500Hz, right in the mid-range of the human voice, which creates a certain loudness effect in rooms. Although aesthetically different from other absorption panels, LeakyFM® is attractive and pleasingly designed. This panel is available in three sizes and six design versions, each with slightly different acoustic properties. It is made from a combination of absorbent raw materials produced from natural and recycled synthetic fibres.

How to read the graph: the higher the curve rises, the better the element absorbs sound at that frequency – a value close to 1 means almost complete absorption, a value close to 0 means reflection back into the room.
