Lownote Corner

LOWNOTE C® is a low-frequency membrane absorption panel. It is designed for 90° room corners. Its available tuning frequencies are 50Hz, 63Hz and 80Hz, with an absorption range of approximately 1/3 octave above and below the tuning frequency.

It was developed to fine-tune the low end of the sound spectrum in small rooms such as recording studios and home cinemas.

The working principle behind the development of LOWNOTE C® is based on a Helmholtz resonator with a defined neck opening, using a coloured wooden board construction with an ABS velvet-finished front membrane. This creates a tuned resonant chamber.

This panel can be combined with LOWNOTE Wall® modules to extend the range of bass frequency absorption. Together, these panels extend the absorption range by one additional harmonic frequency.

LOWNOTE C® can be hung quickly and easily on any 90° wall or ceiling corner using the supplied fixings.

How to read the graph: the higher the curve rises, the better the element absorbs sound at that frequency – a value close to 1 means almost complete absorption, a value close to 0 means reflection back into the room.
