Mellowaffle

MELLOWAFFLE® by JOCAVI is a suspended system designed for installation in large-volume spaces to eliminate echoes and shorten the reverberation time. It is a product recommended for high-volume rooms: large studios, gymnasiums, pavilions, swimming pools, factories, warehouses, commercial and industrial buildings, or plant rooms where echoes occur. MELLOWAFFLE has two absorbing faces, each different from the other. Although the exposed surface of the modules is relatively small in relation to the size of the spaces they are used in, they retain a very high absorption coefficient. The panels are installed by hanging them on steel cables, or they can be fixed directly to the building structure or to walls. In addition to the acoustic properties mentioned, this product is highly resistant to abrasion and fire (class M1). When ignited it releases a very small amount of smoke. It has a long service life. Simple maintenance can be carried out with a vacuum cleaner. This product has fairly good resistance to moisture and is therefore also suitable for swimming pools. It is an excellent and far better alternative to the application of acoustic foams.
