QuadCORK

In keeping with JOCAVI®'s ecological philosophy, this product is made exclusively from cork harvested from cork oaks. Its industrial process is 100% natural. QuadCORK® is an anti-vibration, insulating and acoustic element with a high degree of thermal insulation. The excellent properties of expanded cork agglomerate in terms of insulation and dimensional elasticity, together with its controlled porosity and density, ensure outstanding acoustic performance. These reduce the sound pressure level transmitted into building structures, as well as noise and echoes within the room. QuadCORK® is therefore a practical, effective and ecological solution for good acoustic insulation and room acoustic treatment. It is designed for application to flat continuous surfaces or to parts of surfaces. It is supplied as 25cm x 25cm mosaic tiles, which are simply glued to surfaces, walls and ceilings. QuadCORK® is made from cork as its raw material, without additives, and is bound by its own resin. 90% of the energy consumed comes from biomass – waste from its own industrial processes, granules and dust.

Portugal has more than 730 thousand hectares of cork oaks and accounts for more than 50% of the world's cork production.
