Seafoam

SEAFOAM® is made from flexible "open-cell" melamine resin foam, a thermosetting polymer. This foam is characterised by its three-dimensional network structure, made up of easily shaped thin fibres. The sound wave penetrates the open-cell structure, reducing the reflected energy and providing excellent absorption capacity. Thanks to the low weight of SEAFOAM® modules, large surface areas can be created that take on a free-floating, attractive appearance. Simple installation requires no additional structural or technical equipment. Work spaces exposed to high noise levels, such as industrial premises or pavilions, can be acoustically treated with these panels at low cost. For large projects we can produce specific shapes and sizes on request. The acoustic and safety characteristics of SEAFOAM® modules make this product ideal for use as sound insulation in buildings with demanding fire requirements. It improves acoustic and sound insulation, thereby ensuring safety in line with environmental standards.

• Melamine foam – fire resistance: Euroclass B-s1,d0 (equivalent to M1 France, Germany B1, UK Class 1, USA V0/HF1)

• Optional velvet finish
• Good thermal insulation and moisture tolerance.
